Comments: This Super X was converted into a Henderson Blue American X for the 1999 rally season. It is one of only two American X bikes built by the factory. The other American X, #1931, remains as an American X. After the rally season, #1148 was returned to it's original Super X form, including Raven Black sheetmetal. Sometime later the Super X front end was removed and replaced with the conventional front end seen here. Note that the Super X sheet metal remains. Also note the aftermarket narrow front fender.
