As far as my Excelsior Henderson
eXperience, prior to the release of the initial production
bikes I had been watching everything that appeared in the
press and was not impressed with the pictures that saw. I
was at the Laughlin River Run in 1999 and got to see and
ride a demo bike and was very impressed with the look of the
bike, the fit and finish, as well as the performance
(compared to the V twin competition).
I rode demo bikes at Laughlin and Sturgis
the two years that they were available and had planned on
purchasing one at some point and thought that I may never
get the chance when they closed their doors in 2000. After
looking around for sometime I found this one an hour away
with 700 miles on it.
The Excelsior Henderson community has
really impressed me. Everyone that I have met in person or
talked to over the phone from Bobby Baldwin to Jamie and
Marty Jones
have been a fountain of information and
great to deal with. I'm proud to be associated with such a
fine group of people.
