Comments: I have been in the motorcycle business all of my life, beginning with my dad who was a Harley/ Triumph dealer in the late 50’s and early 60’s.  While I was doing my thing for Uncle Sam, he sold the store.  I spent a couple of years doing something I hated wearing a coat and tie.  In 1968 I went back to motorcycles. I have been a parts manager since then.  I could never bring myself to buy a Harley.  I have been riding Jap iron until 1999 when the store I was with, San Diego’s House of Motorcycles, became a dealership for Excelsior Henderson.  I had my reservations until the Henderson rep, Nick Trumbo, came by on a Saturday and said, “Take this demo bike for a ride.”  I was hooked.  673 came two weeks later.  It has had all X-Man updates, went to Four Corners last year, Daytona this year and is heading for Four Corners again this year.  I am very sorry the company folded because this motorcycle has been one of the most exciting experiences of my life.  I believe in the Henderson experience.
