Problems Shifting Gears

Some members have experienced problems shifting to higher gears on their Super Xs. Even after the tranny was updated.

1) From Bruce Whitefoot (#525): Second gear would disappear by feel. 3rd to 4th would shift weird, as if trying to grab 2 gears at once. No clashing/banging/grinding. Found that the shifting lever, on back side of case was walking off of the shaft, hitting the rear jug (sticking there), and hitting the battery box. 

THE FIX: I pushed the shifting arm back onto the shaft fully (funny thing - this shaft isn't grooved out to lock the arm in place) and checked that the splines weren't knurled out. I also applied locktite.
