Spongy Clutch Lever

Getting that spongy feeling in your clutch lever? Or do your slave seals leak? Here's what you can check:

1) Leaky clutch slave seals. You can tell you have a leak because you will see traces of fluid on the primary cover below the slave cylinder cover.

2) Replace the seals. This was covered in a Factory Warranty Bulletin - #w99-06. Click here to view the bulletin.

3) Check for air in the lines. Vacuum bleeding can be done from the lower bleed screw. See your owner's manual for the proper cautions to take.
