X-Man's Hints and Fixes For August 25, 2002: Clutch Adjustment on the Super X By: Bobby Baldwin Remove clutch access cover. It is the round cover on the Primary cover on the left side of the engine. Fully pull in the clutch lever. Using a feeler gauge, check the space between the piston and the snap ring. It should be 20 thousandths of an inch. Loosen the jam nut to properly set the gap. |
